Right, firstly thanks to Ruth at My Search for Real Poland for highlighting the fact that GoOverseas have updated their list of top Polish blogs. After checking out the (Well deserved) first placer AngloPolish - I was utterly amazed by the last video posted named 'MikroCity Wrocław'
All the Kudos need to go to AngloPolish for finding this vid but I think it was Banksy who once said great artists always steal (or something like that) so I'm posting the video here too. I suspect many Wrocławians have missed this piece of Awesomeness.

The video was credited by Rafał Trubisz, and it uses some clever computer wizardry to make a video of Wrocław seem like a 'model' world where literally everything and every shot appears to be of a miniaturized version of Wrocław. If anybody is interested the process is called Miniature Faking. May other miniaturization videos look shit and probably I could do the same with a little bit of time on Photoshop, this one however, is artwork.
I can't explain it properly so just watch the video ;)
And credits to Husky Rescue for the awesome audio track to the video titled 'Sound of love'
That's pretty cool. Must have taken a lot of work to make that clip
ReplyDeleteVery interesting find. The Wrocław video is the best example of this technique being used, Warsaws video is terrible for example
