Finally I have found a Polish film (aside from Katyn) that I can enjoyably watch from start to finish. It runs in a similar vein to The Hangover (Kac Vegas in Polish) - or at least I think it does.
The idea is simple. Two guys find themselves hungover in the middle of a mysterious forest. Said forest grants them one wish per day. At first they just wish for pizza and beer but then the brain cells click into place and they wish for a woman :)
The humour is a bit blokeish and simple but I found it great to watch as a learner of Polish, maybe the language is a bit simpler too? In fact I understood more or less everything which was a nice feeling. I'm sure beneath the man jokes is some profound intelligent and artisitc message but for me it was something else....

Plus you can find all of the film on Youtibe, two versions were created but they seem to be almost identical.

Have you seen Testosteron? Goes on a bit but similar. I'll check this out now (better than work!)

I never get comedy from other countries. I just dont think it travels. I know a very small amount of polish and I didnt get this either but anyways
